Green Energy Hoods provides comprehensive testing and certification on Biological Safety Cabinets, Laminar Flow, Cleanrooms, Exhaust systems, HVAC, Air Balancing and Fume Hoods. Our technicians test and certify equipment according to SP1205 Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), which are updated on a continuous basis in order to meet Federal and International safety guidelines and quality assurance programs including: NSF 49, OSHA, NIH/CDC, IEST, AIHA, ANSI, ASHRAE, SEFA, NEBB or manufactures specifications.

Environmental, Health and Safety Training (OSHA)
Upon your request, we can conduct site-training sessions for your staff based on Federal and International guidelines and your own company policies. Our extensive knowledge will help provide a safe and functional workplace for your staff.

Hood Certification & Repair:  All makes and models of fume hoods, biological safety cabinets, and laminar flow clean benches.

Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning
Fully trained and certified technicians will ensure your complete system -- hood, plenum, ductwork, and rooftop fan -- is properly cleaned to comply with NFPA 96 and IMC standards.

On-site Air Sampling Services:  All samples analyzed by NIOSH or OSHA validated methods. We will also provide you with detailed reports along with recommendations when changes are needed.

Preventive Maintenance and Calibration
Preventive Maintenance is generally performed bi-monthly, monthly, or quarterly depending on the equipment and the standards applicable to the unit.
GEH offers custom Preventive Maintenance Services upon customer request.
GEH  performs General Calibrations and Certified Calibrations. (Certified Calibrations are done with Instrumentation to NIST Traceable Standards.)

Ventilation Rate Testing: Documentation of intake and exhaust cfm at each diffuser, negative pressure test, documentation of room cubic footage and calculation of total air changes per hour using NIST traceable test equipment.

All of our equipment is state of the art and is calibrated and maintained per manufacturers recommended intervals to NIST Traceable Standards. Certificates available upon request.
